![]() ![]() Just so you know, all traditional drawings eventually go through the computer for final cleanup, then color, then effects, then compositing, then final rendering. Then the digital color artist can cleanup the lines and drop the color in. Oh and the scans would all make the background pure white so you could isolate the lineart. ![]() But yeah traditional is great otherwise IMO. I've also had paper cleanliness problems that would show up in my scans. Also, I dropped my stack of drawings one time and I forgot to number all of them so I lost like an hour trying to put them back in order. I have both amplia and digicel, mainly use digi for work etc however all my security. Depends on what youre using it for digicel for streaming & gaming amplia for basic home use. Amplia also seems to have a more competitive price for their internet. Personally, I'm pro digital for frame-by-frame animation, mainly for convenience. My relatives have Amplia and I think their TV box interface is much nicer than Digicels. When I was in college, we had high speed scanners that would take our stack of 100-200 drawings and run through them pretty darn quick. Plus it allows veteran animators to keep doing it without struggling to stay up to date with all the latest tech. Meanwhile, the traditional animator can just focus all of his attention on the performance and accuracy of his drawing / cleanup. Wasting time fighting the equipment to get the perfect line strokesįreezing/lagging/rendering problems due to the computer System crashes/lost work due to the software I prefer bmobile due to the coverage of where I live. Digicel provides more services at a higher quality than bmobile based on my experiences. It described this process as “more content-forward displays of Reddit information” that aim to benefit both Google's tools and to make it easier for people to participate on Reddit. When you animate frame by frame digitally, you have to have: Every time current gone my bmobile phone is rendered useless since it’s dependent on TSTT. Google played down its interest in using Reddit data to train its AI systems, instead emphasizing how it will make it “even easier” for users to access Reddit information, such as product recommendations and travel advice by funneling it through Google products. Google praised Reddit in a news release, calling it a repository for “an incredible breadth of authentic, human conversations and experiences” and stressing that the search giant primarily aims “to make it even easier for people to benefit from that useful information.” Those moderators have publicly protested earlier Reddit decisions, most recently blacking out much of the site for days when Reddit announced plans to start charging many third-party apps for access to its content.īut it's also highly significant for Google, which is hungry for access to human-written material it can use to train its AI models to improve their “understanding” of the world and thus their ability to provide relevant answers to questions in a conversational format. It’s a big step for San Francisco-based Reddit, which relies on sometimes contentious volunteer moderators to run its sprawling array of freewheeling topic-based discussions. The arrangement, announced Thursday and valued at roughly US$60 million, will also give Reddit access to Google AI models for improving its site search and other features. Top science and technology headlines, all in one place.I have been able to spread out these materials over the course of at least a dozen projects. If I had to go out and buy all of the materials I used on this, it would cost well over 100. ![]() Not only are there more options to source than ever before, but theres more completely free information available to help people get started and expand their knowledge and TONS of data/software to make you more. My total investment is under 20 in materials + cost of hardware (havent bought it yet). Reddit has struck a deal with Google that allows the search giant to use posts from the online discussion site for training its artificial intelligence models and to improve products such as online search. Flipping is absolutely worth it if youre willing to put in the time and effort to achieve your desired version of success from it. ![]()
